For Patients that require adjusted citrate tubes

  • Main lab only
  • Haematology will assess the need for a specialised collection tube and notify the Patient Services Lead.
  • Consult the site lead - Haematology will provide the adjusted citrate tube. Specific collection requirements apply. Refer to Test Reference Manual.
  • Site lead will issue a card to the patient for future collection.
