- Anti-thyroglobulin antibodies (Anti-Tg) occur more frequently in patients with thyroid cancer than in the general population.
- (Anti-Tg) interferes with the Tg assay, causing false low Tg results. An anti-Tg level is measured and reported with all Tg requests.
