6-Methylmercatopurine levels are reflex tested in all specimens where 6-Thioguanine Nucleotides (6-TGN) levels are < 200 pmol/8x10e8 RBCs as an indicator of potential toxicity.
Where 6-TGN and 6-MMP are being measured concurrently a single EDTA sample is sufficient.
Can share with 6-TGN, otherwise own tube required

Sample greater than 4 days old on receipt in CHL will be rejected
