Collection Information
Preparation
- Collect specimen at end of shift or exposure.
- When collecting the sample the tube should be filled to near the top to prevent loss of acetone by volatilization into the headspace.
- Do not swab the venepuncture site with alcohol.
- Do not use SST gel tubes.
