Notes
- Waikato Hospital Laboratory to triage test. Urine Metanephrine may be performed instead.
- Urine Metanephrines is the preferred test for phaeochromocytoma; Catecholamines for neuroblastoma.
- Paediatric (<15 year old) urines must be acidified to pH 1.5-3.5 on receipt in lab (Must be acidified within 4 hours of collection)
