- DO NOT share sample; dedicated tube required
- Store whole blood at room temperature for no longer than 4 hours and do not refrigerate
- Separate & freeze EDTA plasma/ serum within 4 hours of collection time
- Current Hepatitis C Viral Load result must accompany request
- If requested with Hepatitis C Viral Load, make 2x Nunc tubes for each test, DO NOT share
- Plasma/serum samples can be frozen and thawed no more than 4 times prior to specimen processing
