As from 18th May 2020 (Monday) PLW Immunology will do in-house testing for all patient paid test requests (all sites). All others will be a send away test to WHL.

Patients with clinically suspected measles should have the nasopharyngeal swab (NPS) for measles PCR and any other necessary blood tests performed at the initial clinical consultation. They should NOT attend PathLab collection rooms.

Patients with confirmed measles should NOT attend PathLab collection rooms for any laboratory testing during their infectious period (until at least 5 days after the onset of rash).
