  • URGENT REQUEST
  • Tests required for Needle Stick Injury include: HBsAg, Anti HBs, Anti HB core, HCV and HIV
  • HIV & HBsAg testing should be completed within 24 hours.
  • Other associated tests Anti HBs, Anti HB core and Anti HCV, samples should be tested within 72 hours.

Hand deliver to Immunology department; Do not process through Automate. After Friday 5pm: HIV/HBSA process in PLBOP, other tests process inhouse Immunology the next working day.

- Tauranga

HIV/HBSA process inhouse; other tests in PLW Immunology

- Whakatane

HIV/HBSA process in PLBOP; other tests in PLW Immunology

- Rotorua

HIV/HBSA process inhouse; other tests in PLW Immunology
