NIPS (Illumisreen)
- Only requests by midwife or GP
- Patient must pay on www.illumiscreen.co.nz website directly and show proof of payment
- PLW: Monday to Thursday mid-day collection only
- BOP & Lakes : Monday - Wednesday AM only
- Samples tested in Auckland (Awanui group)
- Strek tubes provided via Awanui/Illumiscreen
- Specimen Services send via Awanui Couriers Tauranga and Hamilton pick up. Rotorua to send via Tauranga Specimen Services.
Percept NIPT
- Funded services provided for patient with clinical risk only (Excluding Waikato region)
- Collection Monday- Thursday AM only
- Gynaecologist requests only
- No collection fee
- Collect Strek tube provided by VCGS Melbourne
- Specimen Services send samples to Melbourne via DHL Express
