PTHrP must be approved by the chemical pathologist prior to collection.
Preparation
- Phlebotomist to contact the Site Lead for Biochemistry for test approval
- If approved, the Site Lead will contact Patient Services to arrange for the patient to attend a main lab site
- Only Hamilton, Tauranga and Rotorua main lab sites to do the collection
- Sample must be separated and frozen within 15 mins
- Patients from Whakatane and Taupo will need to attend of of these main lab sites for collection (if approved)
