For all children, adolescents and adults who have diabetes and are on insulin, sharp containers are free with no part-charge. These containers can be picked up and exchanged at any of our collection sites in the Waikato region.
Patients will need to provide their full name, date of birth and NHI or have a request form from their health care provider when they exchange a container or if newly diagnosed and prescribed insulin.
