- If TFT is requested we will only perform TSH. If TSH is abnormal we will automatically add on FT4 and FT3 as per BPAC guidelines.
- Pregnancy reference ranges as below:
- Please note: Changes in TSH and FT4 during pregnancy are gradual. The reference intervals quotes cannot capture these gradual changes.
- The Reference intervals quotes have significant uncertainty and are only an approximate guide to interpretation of TSH and FT4 during pregnancy.
- Beckman FT3: Trimester-specific reference intervals are not available, suggest the use of adult values.
