Preparation

  • Discuss with Clinical Microbiologist before collecting sample

  • Symptomatic patient, approved by Clinical Microbiologist = no charge

  • Asymptomatic patient, approved by Clinical Microbiologist = $310 + gst

    (Sample will be tested for Zika IgG and IgM in conjunction with Chikungunya and Dengue serology (including Dengue NS1 Antigen)

  • Please use the Clinical Virology Laboratory Test Request form from ESR

  • Send serum/Urine with EDTA whole blood (no centrifugation) to Referral Laboratory
